Why DeLand Picks The Warehouse Salon For Extensions

Most salons in Volusia County dabble in extensions. We don't dabble. Our DeLand team trained directly with the brands that make the hair, and every install gets matched to your lifestyle, your hair density, and how you actually wear your hair on a Tuesday. Not just on the day you leave the chair.

Real Certifications, Not Weekend Courses

Our extension stylists hold active certifications in hand-tied weft, tape-in, K-tip, and beaded row methods. We retrain every year because the techniques keep evolving and so do we.

100% Remy Human Hair

We don't use synthetic blends or non-Remy hair. Every strand has the cuticle running the same direction, which is why our extensions stay smooth instead of matting after three weeks.

Custom Color Match Before Install

We custom-blend or pre-tone every set so the hair matches your natural color, your highlights, and your dimension. No flat, "obvious extensions" look.

Hidden Install, Real Movement

Wefts placed for your hair pattern, tape-ins angled to disappear at the part, K-tips spaced so your scalp can breathe. You can wear it up, down, ponytail, beach. It moves like your own hair.

The Four Extension Methods We Install In DeLand

One method doesn't fit every head. Your hair density, lifestyle, and goals decide which one is right. Here's a quick breakdown so you can walk into your consultation already knowing the language.

Hand-Tied Wefts

Best for: Fine to medium hair that wants serious volume without bulk. Sewn into beaded rows, sits flat against the head, no glue, no heat.

Lasts: 6 to 8 weeks per move-up. Hair reuses for 9 to 12 months.

Tape-In Extensions

Best for: Anyone who wants a fast install, low maintenance, and a method that's easy to remove. Sandwiches between your own hair with medical-grade tape.

Lasts: 6 to 8 weeks per move-up. Hair reuses 2 to 3 times.

K-Tips (Keratin Tips)

Best for: Thicker hair that needs individual strands for natural movement. Bonded with keratin and a heat tool, virtually invisible at the root.

Lasts: 3 to 4 months. Hair generally one-time use.

Beaded Rows

Best for: Clients who want the longest-wearing, lowest-damage option. Tiny beads anchor a row of weft hair, no glue, no heat, no tape.

Lasts: 7 to 9 weeks per move-up. Hair reuses for up to a year.

DeLand Extension FAQ

Will extensions damage my hair?

Not when they're installed properly. Damage happens from bad install, wrong method for your hair, or skipping move-ups. We pick the right method, install it correctly, and stay on a schedule. That's why our clients keep their extensions in for years.

How long does an install take?

Tape-ins run about 90 minutes to 2 hours. Hand-tied wefts and beaded rows take 2 to 3 hours. K-tips can run 3 to 4 hours depending on density. We block enough time so it never feels rushed.

Can I swim, work out, and shower normally?

Yes. You can swim, work out, sleep on them, and live your life. We just teach you how to brush, wash, and dry them so they stay looking new between move-ups.

How much hair will I need?

Most clients start with 1 to 2 rows for hand-tied or beaded, 40 to 80 pieces for tape-ins, or 100 to 150 strands for K-tips. We tell you exactly what you need at your consult so there's no guessing.

Do you serve clients outside DeLand?

Yes. We have clients drive in from Lake Mary, Sanford, Heathrow, Daytona, Ormond Beach, Orange City, Deltona, DeBary, New Smyrna, and Orlando. We're worth the drive.
