  • Truss Miracle Amino: The Liquid Rebuild My Color Clients Can't Skip

If you color your hair, bleach it, or get highlights, you need a leave-in that rebuilds amino acids. Truss Miracle Amino is a liquid repair spray that I put in the hands of every bleach client who walks out of my chair. Once a week, wet hair, 10 seconds to apply. That's the whole routine.

    Who This Product Is For

This isn't for everyone. It's a targeted repair spray, and it earns its place on a very specific list:

    • Bleached hair at any level, from balayage to full platinum
    • Highlight clients who lift color every 6 to 10 weeks
    • Hair with repeated chemical history, including old relaxers or perms
    • Extension clients dealing with weight-related breakage
    • Heat-style-heavy clients who flat iron or curl daily

    Why This One Works

Your hair is made of keratin, which is made of amino acids. When you bleach or lift color, the chemical process doesn't just strip pigment. It also breaks the amino acid bonds inside the strand. Once those bonds break, you get the classic damaged-hair feel, mushy when wet, snappy when dry, tangles out of nowhere.

Miracle Amino is a liquid delivery system for free amino acids. You spray it onto wet hair, comb it through, and the aminos move into the strand where the bonds need rebuilding. Truss's nano tech means smaller particles, which means deeper penetration than most leave-ins.

It's not a replacement for a mask. It's the daily-to-weekly bridge between mask treatments. Mask once a week, Amino after every wash, is the pattern I recommend to most bleach clients.

How I Use It in the Salon

I use Amino as a backbar finisher after any color service. Towel-dry the hair, spray it head-to-toe, comb through, blow out. Here's the same technique for at-home use:

    • Shampoo and condition normally
    • Towel dry until hair is damp, not dripping
    • Spray 6 to 10 pumps from mid-length to ends for medium-length hair. More for long, less for short
    • Comb through with a wide-tooth comb
    • Don't rinse. Style as usual

    The Honest Tradeoff

It's a leave-in, not a detangler. It has a light conditioning effect but if you have thick tangly hair, you still need a proper detangler on top. I usually layer Amino first, then a detangler spray on top for heavy knots.

Also, the scent is subtle, almost neutral. If you like your hair products to smell like a spa, this one's understated.

    Real Client Scenario

Had a highlight client, natural level 5, been highlighting with me for 4 years. Recently she started blow drying daily for work. Within 3 months her ends felt crispy. She asked me "should I just cut it?"

I said not yet. I put her on Truss Miracle Mask weekly, and Miracle Amino after every wash. Six weeks later she came in for her next highlight and her stylist assistant at the bowl said "her hair feels like silk." She didn't cut it. She just started treating it right.

    Pro Tips Clients Rarely Know

    • Spray on wet hair, not dry. Wet hair absorbs, dry hair sits
    • Pair with the Mask. Mask weekly, Amino after every wash is the exact protocol for bleach clients
    • Don't over-apply. Too much leaves hair slightly heavy. 6 to 10 pumps is the range for most heads
    • It plays well with heat protectants. Layer Amino first, heat protectant second

Can I use Truss Miracle Amino every day?

Yes. Every wash is the recommended frequency for damaged or chemically processed hair.

    Does it replace a conditioner?

No. It's a leave-in amino acid spray, not a rinse-out conditioner. Use both.

Will it weigh down fine hair?

Only if you over-apply. Stick to 4 to 6 pumps on fine hair and focus on the ends.

Can I use it on dry hair?

You can, but it's less effective. Wet hair absorbs the amino acids much better. Save dry-hair use for quick mid-day touch-ups.

Is it safe for all hair types?

Yes. It's especially built for damaged hair but it's safe for all types, textures, and colors.
