Book Your ConsultationWhy Fairfield Clients Trust Us for Balayage
Fairfield clients come to us because we're local and we're the real deal. Most of our regulars started out frustrated with chunky highlights that grew out in weird lines, or balayage that turned orange within a month. They wanted soft, expensive-looking dimension that actually held up. That's exactly what we do. Hand-painted, custom-toned, bond-protected every single time.

Custom-Blended to Your Tone
We match your skin tone, your natural color, and your lifestyle. No one-size-fits-all.
What Makes Our Balayage Different
Expertise That Takes Years to Build
Nick Mirabella has been behind the chair for 27 years and built The Warehouse Salon from a single chair to a team of 20-plus stylists. Jessica LaFerrara leads our color floor with a decade of dimensional color experience. Every member of our color team keeps up certifications with Keune, Goldwell, Olaplex, and K18. Real training, not YouTube tutorials.
The Consultation Comes First
Every new balayage client gets a free consultation before we touch a strand. We sit with you, look at your current hair, ask about past color, and look at pictures you bring in. If the reference photo isn't realistic for your starting point, we say so honestly and talk through what is achievable. That trust is what keeps our Fairfield regulars with us for years.
Products That Protect Your Investment
Our backbar stays stocked with Moroccanoil, Olaplex, K18, and Keune. These aren't decoration. They're actively built into every balayage service. Bond-builders keep your strand integrity intact during lift, and the right aftercare recommendation keeps your color fresh for months. Chain salons cut corners on product cost. We don't.

Common Questions About Balayage
How long does balayage last?
A proper balayage typically lasts three to four months before you need a touch-up, depending on how fast your hair grows and how you care for it at home. A gloss refresh every six to eight weeks keeps the tone fresh and can stretch your balayage even longer.
Will balayage damage my hair?
Not when it's done right. Every balayage here includes Olaplex and K18 bond-building treatments built into the service. Most of our clients tell us their hair actually feels healthier after a balayage with us than it did before, because the bond-builders repair existing damage while we work.
How is balayage different from highlights?
Balayage is hand-painted freehand with no foils, which creates a soft, diffused, natural-looking blend. Traditional highlights use foils for a more saturated, uniform lift with clearly defined pieces. They're two completely different looks. Balayage gives you that lived-in sun-kissed finish. Highlights give you a brighter, more structured look.
I had bad balayage before. Can you fix it?
Yes. We do color correction every single week. Whether your previous balayage went brassy, turned orange, grew out unevenly, or just doesn't look like the picture you brought in, come for a free consultation and we'll give you an honest assessment plus a real plan to get you where you want to be.
How long does the appointment take?
First-time balayage usually takes three to four hours start to finish. That includes your consultation, the painting, processing time, a toning step, and a finish style. If you're coming from a previous color that needs correction first, plan on closer to four or five hours. We always tell you up front what to expect.
