Clifton is a 10 minute drive and we're worth it. Extensions installed by stylists who do this work every single day, not once a month.
Book Free ConsultationWhy Clifton Picks The Warehouse Salon
There are plenty of salons closer to Clifton Commons, but extensions aren't something you want a generalist doing. Our team installs wefts, tapes, and fusions five days a week. That repetition is what keeps the install clean and the hair lasting.
We're The Warehouse Salon at 1275 Bloomfield Ave, Fairfield, NJ. For Clifton clients, that's a short drive for the kind of extension work you'd otherwise book in the city. Call us at (973) 500-4536 or book online.
Tape-Ins Without the Horror Stories
We hear it constantly: someone got tape-ins somewhere else, hair slid out, scalp got sore, tape showed through a ponytail. Nine times out of ten that's an install issue, not a product issue. We use medical-grade tape, section properly, and place tabs where they actually stay put for 6 to 8 weeks.
Clifton has a big Latin community and we've worked with every hair texture you can imagine. Color match on dark, thick hair is one of our strengths.

About the Extension Team
Nicole and Jess both specialize in extensions. They hold certifications across hand-tied, tape-in, and fusion methods and install these systems every week. That repetition is what separates a clean install from a rushed one.
Every consultation is free. We sit down, talk about what you're trying to fix or add, color match on the spot, and give you a written quote before you book anything.

Book Your ConsultationExtension FAQs for Clifton Clients
Which extension type is right for me?
It depends on your hair density, lifestyle, and goal. Fine hair often does best with fusion. Thick, active clients love hand-tied wefts. Anyone new to extensions usually starts with tape-ins. We'll walk through it at your consultation and give you an honest answer, not the most expensive one.
Do extensions damage your hair?
When installed and maintained correctly, no. Damage happens when tension is too tight, hair isn't brushed properly, or move-ups are skipped. We train every client on the three-minute home routine that keeps your natural hair healthy underneath the extensions.
How long do extensions last?
Tape-ins last 6 to 8 weeks per install before they need to be moved up. Hand-tied wefts last 8 to 10 weeks between move-ups. The actual hair, with proper care, lasts 6 to 12 months before you need new bundles. Fusion extensions can last up to a year.
Can you color extensions?
Yes, we tone and gloss extensions in-house all the time. We can darken Remy hair without issue. We can lift it slightly too, though most of the time we pre-tone before installing rather than lifting after. Best practice is to color match at the consultation so you don't have to bleach anything.
How often do I need maintenance appointments?
Tape-in clients come in every 6 to 8 weeks for a move-up. Hand-tied clients every 8 to 10 weeks. Fusion every 3 to 4 months. We book your next move-up at the end of your install so you're never caught without a slot.
