Best Color Correction in Parsippany NJ

Parsippany clients are usually on a mission. Busy schedules, often coming from a corporate office off 287 or Route 10, and they need their color right. We've got a solid base of Parsippany regulars who originally found us because their go-to salon closed or their colorist moved, and they needed someone to clean up a few years of inconsistent work.

What Color Correction Actually Means

Color correction is not a re-color. It's a rescue. When a client sits in our chair for a correction, something already went wrong somewhere else. Box dye that turned orange. Highlights that came out yellow. A balayage that looks like stripes. A toner that shifted purple. We've seen it all, and we've fixed it all.

Here's what we tell every Parsippany client on the phone before they come in: correction is a process, not a quick service. Depending on what you're starting with and where you want to end up, it can take one visit or it can take three. We're honest about that up front because nothing ruins a client experience faster than a surprise at the register.

A Typical Parsippany Color Correction Story

We see a lot of Parsippany clients with grown-out highlights that have been touched up so many times the mids are now 4 different shades. It takes a plan, not a single visit, but it gets fixed.

Why We're the Go-To for Parsippany Color Correction

Honest Assessment

We tell you exactly what it's going to take. No sugarcoating to book the service. If your hair needs a break before we can safely get you to platinum, we'll say so.

Bond Repair Built In

Every correction includes Olaplex and K18 treatment at no guesswork. These aren't add-ons we upsell, they're part of how we work so your hair actually survives the fix.

Multi-Session Plans

Severely damaged or heavily colored hair can't safely be fixed in one day. We build out a plan over 2 or 3 visits so we protect the integrity of your hair while getting you where you want to go.

No-Pressure Consultation

Your consult is a conversation. We look at your hair, we talk about your goal, we quote the real cost and real timeline. If we're not the right fit, we'll say that too.

Color Correction Pricing

Consultation required. A $50 consultation fee applies and is credited toward your service when you book. We don't quote color correction over the phone because we can't see your hair.

  • Light correction: starts at $250 (toning, gloss, minor blending)
  • Mid-level correction: $350 to $500 (banding, brass removal, re-highlighting)
  • Major correction: $600+ (color removal, dark-to-light transitions, multi-session work)

Every quote includes bond repair. If we build a multi-session plan, we walk you through the cost of each session before you commit to anything.

Nick, our owner, has been doing hair for over 20 years. He's personally seen every color disaster imaginable walk through the door. When Jessica and Nick both look at your hair and give you the same plan, you can trust you're getting the right answer.

Color Correction FAQ

Can all bad color be fixed?

Almost always, yes. But the real question is how much hair you want to keep. If you've got severe breakage and chemical damage, the honest answer is sometimes a correction has to include a cut. We'll tell you that at the consult instead of surprising you in the chair.

How many sessions will I need?

Depends on where you're starting and where you want to end up. A brass fix or toner reset is usually one visit. A dark-to-light correction or fixing a full head of uneven highlights often takes 2 to 3. We'll give you the real answer at the consultation.

Will my hair be damaged after correction?

With our approach, no more damaged than it already is. We build bond repair into every service and we won't push past what your hair can safely handle. If we think a session would cause damage, we pause and reschedule for a later date.

Can you fix bleach damage?

We can repair it, re-tone it, and make it look and feel dramatically better. What we can't do is magically regrow bonds that are already broken. K18 and Olaplex do real work here, and in most cases we get clients back to healthy-looking hair over 2 to 3 appointments plus at-home care.

What if I can't afford the full correction in one visit?

Totally fair. That's exactly why we do multi-session planning. We'll fix the most visible issue first, send you home with a plan, and space the rest across visits that fit your budget. We'd rather get it right over 3 months than rush a result neither of us is happy with.
